WVMA Traveling Display

The all-new WVMA traveling display is a popular tool to educate the public at clinic open houses and other special events. The display sets up quickly and offers a choice of five educational vignettes, which demonstrate the importance of regular veterinary physical examinations. Topics include Lyme disease, bladder stones, hip dysplasia, hyperthyroidism, and parasites.

Cows Need Doctors Too!
This all-in-one presentation package, designed to introduce grade school children to the dairy veterinary profession. Themes presented in the video are the importance of veterinarians on the farm, the veterinarian/producer partnership and food safety issues.
The package consists of a 13-minute video showing the dairy veterinarian in action on a farm. It illustrates the health needs of a cow from birth on. Highlighted throughout is the care and management of a dairy herd in relation to the production and processing of dairy products that ultimately reach the consumer.
This high quality video is general enough to be used successfully anywhere in the country. The written materials included are a teacher's guide, presenters guidelines and a reproducible activity sheet for children grades three to five.
