WVMA Member Recognized as Business Person of the Year in Green Bay
WVMA member, Dr. Patrick Warpinski, was recently recognized as Business Person of the Year by the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce. This annual award honors a local small business person who has demonstrated achievement in the ownership of a business as well as leadership and perseverance and who has made significant positive impact in the greater Green Bay community.
In 2004, starting with just two employees, Warpinski created The Animal House Pet Clinic, a full service veterinary practice. In 2006, Warpinski added The Animal House Groom & Board, a 10,000 square foot facility that provides boarding, daycare, grooming and training. Currently, The Animal House employs nearly 40 staff members and cares for thousands of pets annually, including extensive discounted basic care programs for needy pet owners and humane organizations and rescue groups in a 5 county area in Northeastern Wisconsin.
The Animal House has been named Best of the Bay from 2008-2012 in the Green Bay Press Gazette Reader’s Choice Awards, and was recently nominated as a finalist in the 2012 Ethics in Business Awards.
