WVMA Recognizes Retiring University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine Dean
On June 14, 2012 the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association (WVMA) Executive Board passed a resolution thanking Dr. Daryl Buss for his years of service as the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM) Dean.
WVMA Past President, Dr. Steve Erickson, proposed to pass a resolution stating “The executive board of the WVMA thanks and recognizes Dean Buss for his years of services to the WVMA and organized veterinary medicine in Wisconsin.”
Buss shared his appreciation for the resolution.
“I greatly appreciate this resolution and honor, especially as they come from an executive board and organization that I hold in great respect. I wish the executive board and the WVMA continued success in leading our profession, not only in Wisconsin but nationally.”
Buss has served on the WVMA Executive Board and as the SVM Dean for 18 years. Buss was the second SVM Dean. Today the SVM stands in the top five veterinary schools in the nation. The WVMA wishes the best to Buss and his future endeavors.
