Oncology Updates for the General Practitioner
Hits : 202

Confused about c-kit inhibitors? Wondering what the fuss is about metronomic chemotherapy? Wanting clarity regarding canine mast cell tumors? Come to the 2013 UW-SVM Oncology Continuing Education Course! This course will provide attendees with: updates on recent advances in cancer diagnosis and therapy; a refresher course on cytology of common cancers, and some practical tips on communicating with clients (and oncologists!). A novelty this year will be an hour devoted to clinical cases. Attendees are welcome to share personal cases and request tips and advice on management from medical and radiation oncologists present. A technician program will run in parallel with the DVM program.
