Participants will gain knowledge in the components of the anesthetic machine and the advantages and disadvantages to the numerous breathing circuits available to veterinary professionals. The common anesthetic monitors will be discussed, and how to incorporate them into the busy veterinary practice. This conference will emphasize the importance of the veterinary technician in their role as anesthetist, especially when "monitoring without monitors". Specific cases showing how to incorporate each unique machine and monitor will be presented.
