Dr. Edwards earned his DVM from the University of Georgia; completed an internship and residency in surgery at Cornell University; and earned his PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He was a clinical instructor at Cornell University and a clinical assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Dr. Edwards joined Fairfield Equine Associates in 2005 and is currently a partner in the 10-veterinarian practice based in Newtown, Connecticut, and Wellington, Florida. The practice focuses on surgery, lameness and imaging in sport horses but provides care to horses in many disciplines as well as horses that are considered family members to their owners.
