During this 3-part series, participants will learn about a variety of small animal ophthalmology topics and review ophthalmology cases.

Part 2 will focus on emergency glaucoma management. Discussion will include the following:

  • The two best drugs to have in your practice to manage glaucoma and how to decide when to use each one
  • Troubleshooting tonometry techniques

Dr. Ellison Bentley graduated from University of Florida in 1993 and completed a small animal internship at North Carolina State University in 1994. In 1997, she did an ophthalmology residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and became faculty there in 2001. She is currently a clinical professor and section head of Comparative Ophthalmology at the UW School of Veterinary Medicine.
