This course will provide state-of-the art recom­mendations for staging and managing chronic kidney disease in cats, to include updated IRIS staging that incorporates SDMA testing, logi­cal approaches to managing proteinuria, hy­pertension, hyperphosphatemia and anemia, evidence-based advice on managing vomiting and decreased appetite, and guidelines for managing urinary tract infections and adjusting drug dosages in CKD.
